KAYOGA = Kayak + Yoga

LOOKING FOR AN EXCITING NEW WAY TO WORKOUT?

WANT TO BE OUTDOORS AND ON THE WATER?
YOU MUST BRING A SIGNED WAIVER TO ALL TRIPS

History of KaYoga /Kayakercise
In 1999 Tim wanted to add even more challenge for his personal training clients. Since the Sculptured Bodies studio was on the water he decided to add his love of kayaking along with his love of yoga and he took a few clients out kayaking to a small island in the bay behind the studio. The clients loved it - they got exercise on the way out and yoga on the island. Hence KaYoga™ was born (Tim phrased the term also). Additionally, he wanted to make it even more challenging so he added boot camp training on the island (hence Kayakercise). In 2009 Tim added Stand Up Paddle Boards to our services. We now offer SUP Yoga, SUP Yoga Teacher Training, SUP Eco Tours, SUP Meditation, SUP Fitness. See Beach Adventures for information on all of our offerings.

Come and join us for these new ways to exercise. We supply the kayaks, Stand Up Paddle Boards and we even hybrids that can be used as a Kayak or a SUP. You supply the enthusiasm and the paddle power.

Try our KaYoga™ where you will kayak to an island and do Yoga on a beautiful beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. If you prefer, kayak over to the island with us and you can explore the island while the yoga class does their thing. You don't have to do yoga to enjoy this trip. On the way to the island you may encounter a Dolphin, Birds and other wildlife. The trip takes about 3 hours total - about a half-hour to 45 minutes Kayaking, an hour yoga class, and possibly time left over to explore the island for awhile. Cost $70.00 per person with a 2 person minimum. Discounted rates for groups.

Try our Kayakercise™ where you will kayak to an island and do boot camp training or you can enjoy the island while others workout. You don't have to do the exercises, just come and enjoy a kayak trip. The trip takes about 3 hours total - about a half-hour to 45 minutes Kayaking, an hour of boot camp training, and possibly time left over to explore the island for awhile (if you have energy to spare). Cost $70.00 per person with a 2 person minimum. Discounted rates for groups.

Reservations can only be made by phoning 727-466-7994. Because we are usually with clients we generally cannot answer calls, so if no one answers please leave a message and your phone # and someone will get back to you.
